We recently completed another round of improvements to the Psychophysiology Data Collection System. The protocol was altered to accommodate a different experimental protocol and the analysis program (called “TrialViewer”) was modified to reflect the protocol requirements. The analysis and collection systems were both developed using LabVIEW. Below are some screen shots showing actual data.
A while back SenSyr crafted a LabVIEW vi to programmatically control, read, and store blood pressure readings from a Critikon Dinamap 1846SX blood pressure monitor, and now we are releasing it as free software. The Dinamap BP monitor is rather venerable. We used them initially back in the mid-80′s; however, eBay still routinely lists these monitors. We’ve purchased several that way with good success, although they usually needed to be rehabilitated a bit.
You’ll need to download and install the LabVIEW runtime (redist.zip), download the program (DinamapRecorder.exe), and a DB9 to DB25 null modem cable to connect the Dinamap to the PC. You may also need a USB serial adapter. Please look at the document CritikonDinamapRecorder.pdf for more information on how to install and use this program. This software has not been tested with MS Vista or Windows 7. Please refer to SenSyr’s policy page regarding usage policies.
